Main Sidebar Navigation (Profile, Wallet, Security, etc.)
The Main Sidebar is the vertical navigation menu located on the far left of the Dashboard. Its function is to provide persistent access to your personal account settings and global mTalim features, which remain consistent no matter which role panel you are currently viewing (e.g., Teacher Panel or Student Panel).
Panel Elements
| Element | Icon | Purpose and Function |
| Notifications | 🔔 | Click to see all the latest alerts, news, and important notifications related to your roles and activity on the platform. |
| Wallet/Balance | $ | Shows the current balance of your mTalim Wallet account. Clicking on this area will redirect you to the Wallet page in the sidebar menu. |
| User Profile | 🧑🦱 (Your photo) | The most important element, which opens a dropdown menu for account management and role switching. |
Sidebar Menu Items and Functions

| Dashboard | 🏠 | Always links back to the main landing page (the Dashboard Overview), where you can view your entities and switch roles. |
| Profile | 👤 | This is your master user profile. Use this to view and edit your personal information, contact details, and core account settings. |
| Public Profile | 🌐 | Allows you to configure and view the information visible to other users or entities within the mTalim ecosystem. |
| Wallet | 💳 | The central location for managing your financial details within the platform. This is where you can view your balance, transaction history, and manage payment methods. |
| mTalim Premium | 💎 | Provides details on premium features, subscription tiers, and options to upgrade your account for enhanced functionality. |
| Subscription | 📜 | Manage your active or past subscriptions, view billing cycles, renewal dates, and payment history for various mTalim services. |
| Security | 🔒 | Access and manage all security-related settings for your account, including password changes, Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), and reviewing login history. |
Visibility

The sidebar remains visible on the left edge of the screen at all times, ensuring that your core account management tools are just one click away.

The currently active item will be highlighted (e.g., the Dashboard is highlighted in blue/green in the image) to indicate your current location on the platform.
