This section details how to manage your personal information, communication settings, and security preferences across the entire mTalim platform.

1. 👤 Profile

The Profile page is your central, personal hub within mTalim, accessible via the Main Sidebar Navigation. This page is dedicated to managing your fundamental identity and contact information, ensuring all entities and roles you interact with have your correct details.

What You Can Do on the Profile Page

The Profile page is divided into two major sections: Personal Information and Account Deactivation.

A. Edit Personal Information

This section allows you to view and update all core identity and contact details linked to your mTalim account:

  • Identity Details:

    • Username and ID: View your system username and unique ID.

    • Full Name: Update your First Name and Last Name.

    • Gender: Select your gender (Male/Female).

    • Date of Birth: Set or correct your date of birth (note the minimum age requirement of 7 years).

  • Contact Information and Location:

    • Mobile: Enter or update your primary mobile phone number.

    • Email: View and change the primary email address used for platform notifications and account communication.

    • Address: Enter your optional physical address.

    • Timezone: Select your specific time zone (e.g., Asia/Samarkand) to ensure all scheduled events and deadlines display the correct local time.

  • Profile Photo: Upload a new photo to easily identify yourself. The system supports JPEG, GIF, or PNG files up to 800K in size.

  • Institutional Visibility: Check the box that says: "Show my profile data to Institutions so me join request." This determines whether institutions can see your data when you request to join them.

Action: After making any changes, click the Submit button to save your updated information.

B. Delete Account

This critical section allows for the permanent removal of your mTalim account.

  • Warning: The platform explicitly warns that once you delete your account, there is no going back.

  • Process: To proceed with deactivation, you must check the box to confirm you understand the finality of the process, and then click the Delete button.
